Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Healthcare Records Specialist to accurately upload and index outside records into the EHR, route documentation to clinicians, and assign correct document types during indexing.

The role supports chart management using Epic, OnBase, and other systems, requires attention to detail, and works remotely with a 40-hour week (Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) with rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• 0–1 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient with Epic, OnBase, Solarity, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Upload/index outside records into the EHR and route to clinicians.
• Incorporate documentation via work queues or eDelivery, ensuring quality and productivity targets.
• Identify missing documentation, assign deficiencies, and guide clinicians on completion per regulations.
