Advocate Health is seeking a Remote Document Management Clerk to support the Enterprise Revenue Cycle - HIM Ops. The role focuses on accurately uploading and indexing outside records, routing to clinicians, and ensuring correct chart management in the EHR.

Responsibilities include reviewing records for missing documentation, applying medical terminology, and collaborating with data integrity to correct errors. The position requires 0–1 years in healthcare and high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills; ability to learn new software such as Epic, OnBase, Solarity, Microsoft Office, and Teams.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately upload/index outside records using applicable software; route documents to clinicians.
• Create or select appropriate patient, encounter, and/or order while indexing into the EHR.
• Incorporate internal/external clinical documentation via work queues, eDelivery, or import into EHR.
• Identify documentation needs based on service areas and level of service; apply medical terminology knowledge.
• Provide support/education to clinicians regarding record completion activities.
• Collaborate with data integrity to communicate errors for correction; notify leadership for quality review.
