Job summary

EAB is seeking a Partner Development Executive for 2-year higher education to establish relationships with decision makers at colleges and universities, map problems to services, and drive new partnerships.

This role requires proven sales success, ability to present and negotiate, travel up to 50%, and the official title may be Associate Director or Director, Partner Development; based in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC, or remote within the continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Proven track record of surpassing revenue targets in business development roles.
• Experience presenting to external partners in a consultative capacity.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% domestically.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in higher education, client presentations, sales/account management, teaching complex ideas, or partner management.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new partners within an assigned territory.
• Build relationships with leaders to discuss challenges and present solutions.
• Conduct live presentations and diagnostic evaluations for prospective partners.
• Meet annual revenue goals through a managed sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and delivery teams to drive revenue.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors.
• Provide insights to inform future initiatives and product development.
• Mentor Sales Associate toward goals.
