Job summary

WSP is seeking a High Voltage Substation Inspector to support the Power Constructors, Inc. (PCI) sector in Conroe, Texas. This role includes field inspections, data collection, and documenting findings to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.

Projects may require up to 100% travel and remote work arrangements. Ideal candidates will have a solid construction inspection background, strong Word/Excel skills, and a willingness to travel for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 9+ years post-education inspection experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel for reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on projects to verify conformance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Generate accurate reports and documentation with photos, sketches, and calculations.
• Provide guidance on inspection practices and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and contractors.
• Travel and stay on-site as project requires; work remotely when applicable.
