WSP Global Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Substation Inspector for our Power Constructors (PCI) sector in Conroe, Texas. The role offers up to 100% travel and the possibility to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location.

You will inspect a range of projects, prepare detailed reports, and support engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements. Ideal candidates bring 9+ years of inspection experience, a valid driver's license, and strong

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education inspection experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• Proficient in Word and Excel for reporting.
• Knowledge of construction inspection principles, codes, and record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Examine concrete placement, pipeline installation, earthwork, and structural elements.
• Document findings with photos, sketches, calculations, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and assist project teams in risk assessment and issue resolution.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and coordinate with contractors and clients.
• Train and guide entry-level inspection staff.
