Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects nationwide. The role oversees planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept to turnover.

This position is fully remote with interview-based location details. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in electrical construction or PM roles, strong estimating and leadership skills, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities preferred.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Familiarity with high-voltage substations, transmission and distribution systems, utility interconnection requirements, electrical codes and industry standards, EPC and design-build delivery methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
