Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead HV preconstruction for substation and transmission projects nationwide.

You will shadow project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment from concept through handoff, coordinating with clients and internal teams. The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering, operations, and procurement, with a focus on delivering constructible plans, effective vendor strategies, and successful project turnover

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission, solar, wind, BESS or industrial E&I projects.
• Experience managing projects >$10M preferred.
• Familiar with electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and contract docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for HV projects from concept to handoff.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables through turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor proposals; ensure alignment with plans.
