Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations and transmission lines.

You will manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy while coordinating with engineering, operations, and procurement teams. This fully remote role requires overseeing risk assessment, long-lead equipment planning, andVendor management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~ 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
