Job summary

SOLV Energy, a nationwide provider of solar, storage, and high-voltage infrastructure services, seeks a remote High-Voltage Pre-construction Project Manager. You will lead preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, and interconnections, coordinating planning, estimates, schedules, and risk from concept to turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities and manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Oversee preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Analyze bid documents, labor, equipment, and material pricing.
• Ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Identify long-lead equipment and monitor critical path milestones.
