Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a highly experienced High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy interconnections. This remote role coordinates estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and client communication from concept through handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Manage estimation, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy.
• Coordinate client communications and stakeholder engagement through project lifecycle.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Oversee vendor management and ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
