Job summary

Stride, Inc. partner Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) is seeking a High School Intervention Specialist 9-12 to support students with diverse needs via a remote work model. The role emphasizes adapting curriculum, creating and managing IEPs, and collaboration with teachers and families.

You will coordinate meetings, document progress, and ensure compliance while maintaining a flexible, home-office environment with typical 40+ hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio Intervention Specialist License.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to match student needs.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals.
• Educate parents on instructional strategies and progress.
• Prepare appropriate documentation and coordinate IEP meetings.
• Proctor testing and coordinate alternative assessments as required.
• Collaborate with related services to monitor IEP goals.
