Job summary

Stride K12 partner Ohio Digital Learning School is seeking an Interventionist to support at-risk students with targeted remediation, collaborating with general education teachers and families to raise achievement in MTSS-aligned interventions.

The role is full-time and virtual with some travel for professional development and testing. A Bachelor's degree and classroom experience are required, with strong communication, organization, and data-tracking skills a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year classroom experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings.
• Pass background check.
• Experience with At Risk students.
• Reading Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Modifies/adapts the K12 curriculum to meet student needs.
• Collaborates with general education teachers to meet goals via individualized/small group sessions.
• Educates parents on instructional strategies.
• Ensures MTSS implementation to increase student achievement.
• Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier.
• Uses data to help plan whole and small group instruction.
• Provides guidance to teachers on grouping students needing additional help.
• Collects and maintains MTSS data (eligible lists, intervention plans).
• Serves as a daily resource to administrators and stakeholders on MTSS issues.
• Coordinates Tier 3 interventions with Family Academic Support Liaisons and staff.
• Provides ongoing MTSS training and support to staff.
• Supports teachers in documenting student progress; collaborates with special education team.
