Stride, Inc. through the Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) seeks an Intervention Specialist for grades 3-5 to support students with diverse needs. The role emphasizes adapting the K12 curriculum, developing IEPs, and collaborating with general educators to meet individualized goals.

This full-time remote position requires Ohio licensure or willingness to obtain Ohio certification, strong literacy and math instruction, and ability to travel up to 20% as needed. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web platforms.
• Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt the K12 curriculum to align with state standards.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet student goals.
• Educate parents on instructional strategies and progress.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate IEP meetings.
• Proctor achievement tests and coordinate related service supports.
