Job summary

OH Virtual Academy (OHVA), a Stride K12 partner, seeks a Middle School Intervention Specialist (grades 6-8) for a full-time remote role. You will adapt the K12 curriculum to student needs, write IEPs, and collaborate with general education teachers and families to support literacy, math, and communication skills.

Start date is August 2026. The position requires travel up to 20% and the ability to obtain Ohio Certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license or eligibility.
• Experience with IEPs and special education programming.

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt K12 curriculum to meet student needs.
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals.
