Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and licensure in education
• State of Ohio Intervention Specialist License required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic web tools

Responsibilities

• Modify/adapt the K12 curriculum to state standards
• Write and maintain compliant IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to meet goals
• Educate parents on instructional strategies
• Prepare required documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings
• Proctor testing and alternative assessments as needed
• Coordinate with related services to monitor IEP goals
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication
• Show strong presentation and organizational skills
• Travel up to 20% and pass background checks
