Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation seeks an experienced HEOR leader to drive payer engagement and evidence strategy across development and commercial assets. This remote US role partners with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and cross-functional teams to shape real-world data and economic evidence translating into payer value.

You will lead a team of HEOR Liaisons, manage payer accounts, and develop strategic plans and materials, with travel as needed to engage stakeholders and present data.”

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, epidemiology, health services research, or related field.
• PharmD, PhD, or MD with 7+ years in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, health plan, or PBM.
• 3+ years of field-based HEOR leadership experience with proven impact.
• Strong understanding of study design, data analysis, and HEOR data interpretation.
• Ability to travel up to 60% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, coach, and train HEOR Liaisons for strategic payer engagement.
• Maintain a panel of priority U.S. payer accounts and engage in scientific dialogue.
• Partner with Market Access to guide account objectives and KPIs.
• Represent the company at Medicaid meetings and conferences; present data.
• Model best-in-class field engagement with HEOR leaders.
• Collaborate with Medical Information to integrate HEOR data into materials.
• Summarize payer insights to guide internal planning and decisions.
• Develop HEOR strategic and tactical plans for development and commercial products.
• Develop payer value propositions and HEOR materials; support State Medicaid testimonies.
• Oversee recruitment and performance management of HEOR team.
• Travel as required to meet stakeholders and customers.
