Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation seeks an experienced HEOR leader to drive evidence generation, payer engagement, and market access strategies for both pipeline and commercialized therapies. You will coach field HEOR Liaisons, manage payer accounts, and collaborate across Medical Affairs and Market Access to deliver data-driven insights.

You will guide development of HEOR plans, value propositions, and Dossiers, with travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health economics or related field with 10+ years in HEOR, medical affairs, or related areas.
• PharmD/PhD/MD with 7+ years in HEOR, medical affairs or managed markets.
• 3+ years of field-based HEOR leadership; able to guide teams and influence without authority.
• Strong study design, data analysis, and interpretation of HEOR data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with US payers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, mentor, coach, train, and evaluate field HEOR Liaisons; ensure strategic pull-through of plans.
• Maintain a panel of priority US payer accounts; engage in scientific dialogue about products and assets.
• Partner with market access and KPIs to drive account objectives and adjust field activities.
• Represent the company at Medicaid meetings and conferences; present data and foster relationships.
• Model best-in-class field engagement with Market Access account directors and HEOR teams.
• Coordinate HEOR data integration into medical materials; answer external questions with scientific accuracy.
• Summarize competitor HEOR strategies and insights for internal planning.
• Interview, hire, and backfill HEOR roles; oversee performance management with leadership.
