United Therapeutics Corporation is seeking a strategic and collaborative HEOR leader who drives evidence generation and payer engagement across pipeline and commercialized therapies. You will coach a field-based team, build trusted relationships with U.S.

payer stakeholders, and shape HEOR strategies to expand patient access. You will lead, mentor, and evaluate HEOR Liaisons, manage payer accounts, and partner with Market Access to define KPIs.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, epidemiology, health services research, or related field with 10+ years of professional experience in HEOR, medical affairs, managed markets, health plan, or pharmacy benefit management
• PharmD, PhD, or MD with 7+ years of professional HEOR experience in the same areas
• 3+ years of previous field-based HEOR experience with leadership in the role
• Strong understanding of study design, data analysis, and interpretation of HEOR/clinical data
• Demonstrated leadership, influencing skills, and ability to guide senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with payers and internal teams
• MS Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and willingness to travel up to 60%
• Driver license valid in state and ability to travel domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor HEOR Liaisons to execute payer engagement plans
• Maintain a panel of priority U.S. payer accounts and engage in scientific dialogue
• Partner with market access and track KPIs to adjust field activities
• Represent the company at Medicaid meetings and managed care conferences
• Model best-in-class field engagement with Market Access directors
• Coordinate with Medical Information to incorporate HEOR data into materials
• Collect and report payer insights to guide internal planning
• Develop HEOR plans for products in development and commercialization
• Create payer value propositions and HCEI materials
• Collaborate with HEOR leadership on team performance management
• Oversee competitor HEOR strategies and communicate insights
• Hire and onboard HEOR personnel as needed
• Travel up to 60% for field activities
