Job summary

Proton Dealership IT, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Technician to be the first line of contact for customers. You will guide clients through troubleshooting steps and document resolutions in Proton's ticketing system.

Remote position with multiple shifts. The role emphasizes strong customer service, hardware troubleshooting, and collaboration with networking devices to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support
• IT certifications or technical education required
• Knowledge of Windows Active Directory domains
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Printer, scanner, and wireless troubleshooting expertise
• Familiarity with switches, routers and firewalls
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 and Exchange 2007/2010/2013

Responsibilities

• Document problems, steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
• Troubleshoot and replace failed desktop and laptop hardware
• Work with switches, routers, and firewalls to diagnose issues
