Job summary

Proton Dealership IT, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a customer-driven IT Helpdesk Support Technician to be the first point of contact for clients. This remote role involves guiding users through troubleshooting steps and documenting resolutions in the ticketing system.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, replace failed components, and work with network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls. Prior helpdesk experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in an IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support role required.
• IT certifications or technical education required.
• Knowledge and experience with Windows Active Directory domains required.
• Must be seasoned with ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with switches, routers and firewalls, and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly documenting problems, troubleshooting steps, and resolution via ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and replace failed computing hardware on desktops and laptops.
• Work with troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls while maintaining a firm understanding of their roles.
