Job summary

First American is seeking a remote-based HELOC Servicing Associate to support the setup, maintenance, and ongoing servicing of HELOC products. You will review draw requests, manage draw segments, and validate billing and interest calculations to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mortgage servicing.
• Working knowledge of HELOC servicing (variable and fixed rate).
• Ability to review loan activity and identify discrepancies in balances, transactions, and interest calculations.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding regulatory, compliance, and risk implications in HELOC servicing.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational support within HELOC servicing.
• Sets up and maintains HELOC draw segments and billing.
• Reviews HELOC draw requests and ensures compliance with procedures.
• Reviews HELOC billing, due dates, balances and payments.
• Validates HELOC interest calculations and researches discrepancies.
• Researches and resolves HELOC servicing issues with internal teams and partners.
• Creates and maintains department documentation and processes.
