Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a seasoned Medical Device Sales professional in the Heart Failure division. You will drive sales, cultivate top-tier customer relationships, and apply ECMO knowledge to complex clinical settings.

The role requires Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of cardiovascular device experience, and willingness to travel across the territory. Remote United States base with extensive field work and collaboration across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Graduate Degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of medical device sales experience within the Cardiovascular field.
• ECMO clinical and technical application experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
• Understanding of hospital account management and ability to establish strong customer relationships.
• Proven track record of success in medical device sales roles.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets as outlined in annual plan.
• Maintain outstanding customer relationships with high professional standards.
• Develop deep clinical and technical knowledge of Abbott CentriMag and related products.
• Understand ECMO and Ventricular Support therapy applications.
• Manage contracts, price quotes, complaints, Salesforce pipeline, and training/compliance.
• Collaborate with regional teams and marketing to support sales strategies.
• Forecasting and pipeline management using Salesforce.com.
• Adhere to Advamed guidelines and Abbott compliance policies.
• Navigate hospital procurement processes and patient care settings effectively.
• Engage with surgeons, perfusionists, and nurses to support product adoption.
