Qualifications

• High school graduate required; 1 year in health care or call center preferred.
• Ability to problem solve in a high stress area, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• No licensure or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Use computerized central scheduling system to provide timely, courteous, and proficient scheduling.
• Enter all required patient Registration data accurately within policy time frames.
• Complete the Medicare Questionnaire for all Medicare patients; know Medicare/Medicaid and payer requirements.
• Provide patients with accurate preparation and arrival instructions prior to exam.
• Accurately obtain and transcribe orders for scheduled outpatient exams.
• Participate in department staff meetings and mandatory trainings to maintain skills.
