Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Per Diem Scheduling Support professional to assist multiple teams within Population Health Services. Under direction, you will coordinate patient appointments and screenings, gather necessary information, and ensure records are accessible to providers.

The role requires excellent customer service, basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel), and familiarity with Epic scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
• 0-1 year in a medical office or health care setting with Epic experience preferred.
• Prior experience scheduling in Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling for patient appointments and/or needed screening tests.
• Provides basic information and instructions to patients regarding the practice and Hospitals across the enterprise.
• Obtains all patient information required by the providers prior to an appointment.
• Ensures that the medical records are available to all health care providers.
• Transcribes call, referral and scheduling information in multiple systems.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers; supports ongoing communication and service recovery with patients and referring physicians.
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy in line with HIPAA guidelines.
