You will coordinate patient appointments, collect necessary information, and ensure timely, high-quality service while maintaining HIPAA privacy. The role requires 0–1 year in customer service, basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel), and Epic scheduling familiarity; hospital-wide coordination and accurate data

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and data entry.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the scheduling for patient appointments and/or needed screening tests.
• Provides basic information and instructions to patients regarding the practice and Hospitals across the enterprise.
• Obtains all patient information required by the providers prior to an appointment.
• Ensures that the medical records are available to all health care providers.
• Transcribes call, referral and scheduling information in multiple systems.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers; supports communication and service recovery with patients and referring physicians.
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy consistent with HIPAA guidelines.
