Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a remote Healthcare Support Specialist to handle calls from healthcare providers about benefits, eligibility, billing and authorizations. You will generate written correspondence if issues remain unresolved and perform outreach to collect missing information, routing complex inquiries to the right team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with English as the medium of communication and at least 1 year in the healthcare provider space.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent with English as the communication medium.
• 1+ year healthcare industry experience in a provider setting (hospital/doctor's office).

Responsibilities

• Answer calls from healthcare providers regarding benefits, eligibility, billing and authorizations.
• Create written correspondence if issues are not resolved during the call.
• Conduct provider outreach calls to collect missing information.
• Route inquiries for further investigation to the appropriate department and perform routine case checks.
• Document provider issues to track trends and support reporting.
