Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Health Plan Specialist for a fully remote contract role supporting members with benefits, billing, enrollment, and insurance coverage. You will handle inbound calls, research and resolve issues end-to-end, and maintain ownership of cases with accurate documentation.

Strong preference for candidates with call center experience, health insurance or Medicaid familiarity, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while on calls. Schedule is Monday-Friday with CST hours.

Qualifications

• Handle 100% inbound customer service calls regarding health plan benefits, billing, enrollment, and coverage questions.
• Manage approximately 50-70 calls per day during peak Open Enrollment periods.
• Research and resolve complex member issues from start to finish.
• Maintain ownership of customer concerns through complete resolution.

• Utilize online tools and resources to efficiently support members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
