Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-minded Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team. The role focuses on US healthcare and technology contracts and HIPAA compliance.

This remote position reports to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy, and involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating license, service, and development agreements for Harris Healthcare units.

Candidates must have a JD and be admitted to a State Bar, with strong drafting and negotiation skills to support cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of US healthcare law, HIPAA, and data privacy.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology and license agreements.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with sound business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements for customers and vendors.
• Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions.
• Create and maintain template agreements; advise cross-functional teams; manage litigation support as needed.
