Job summary

Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-minded Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Team. This remote role negotiates and drafts a broad range of technology and healthcare contracts, advising on HIPAA and privacy issues for U.S. entities.

The successful candidate will manage projects end-to-end, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help drive business growth across the Harris Healthcare portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must hold a JD and be in good standing with a State Bar.
• Strong knowledge of US healthcare law, HIPAA and privacy issues.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts and software licenses.

Responsibilities

• Own legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including licenses, NDAs, and service agreements.
• Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business needs.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support growth.
• Advise internal clients and interact with external counsel as needed.
