Job summary

Harris Healthcare is seeking a business‑oriented Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team. The role focuses on US healthcare and technology contracts, with a remote work option across the U.S.

You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy, and bring at least 4 years of experience in technology contracts and HIPAA compliance. Ideal candidates have a JD, bar admission, and a proven ability to draft, negotiate, and close complex agreements while providing sound business-focused legal

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience from a well-regarded firm or company with a solid understanding of technology contracts, software license agreements, and US healthcare laws including HIPAA.
• Must have a JD Degree and be a member in good standing of a State Bar.
• Highly motivated, organized individual with strong business judgment and exceptional drafting skills.
• Role is remote and eligible to anyone in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
• Draft, review and negotiate licenses, reseller, service, technology development, and NDA agreements.
• Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions as appropriate.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Represent Harris Healthcare needs to customers, vendors and partners; liaise with external counsel on negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Review and identify legal trends and risks in a changing regulatory environment.
