Job summary

Harris Healthcare seeks a corporate counsel to join its Legal Team. The role focuses on U.S. healthcare and technology contracts, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Privacy. The position is remote and eligible to anyone in the U.S.

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, lead end-to-end corporate transactions, and develop template agreements with cross-functional collaboration to support growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience from a well-respected firm or company.
• Firm understanding of legal issues arising under technology contracts, software license agreements, and US healthcare laws including HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for legal matters for assigned Harris Healthcare business units.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts for customers and vendors, including license agreements, reseller agreements, service agreements, technology development agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Lead, from beginning to end, structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing of corporate and commercial transactions based on experience level.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Work closely with the Legal & Compliance Department and cross-functional teams to identify needs, advise internal clients, and support business growth.
• Represent Harris Healthcare needs with customers, vendors and partners; interact with external counsel on negotiations and dispute resolution.
