Job summary

State Collection Service Inc is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join our fast-growing team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech environment, resolving questions on insurance, financial assistance, and payments.

Remote role based in the United States with states allowed including TX. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply; cameras are required during training and in shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a call center or customer service handling the public.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance or administration preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organization skills and multi-tasking ability.
• Willingness to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Team-oriented with ability to cooperate in a collaborative environment.
• Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls in the client’s name to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to information requests from patients in a professional, thorough manner.
• Pursue payment or payment arrangements on behalf of the client.
• Follow client protocols and policies when performing duties.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and applicable laws.
