Job summary

DeepHealth is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer, Viewer to own technical solution design, discovery with customers, and go-lives for enterprise imaging workflows. You will map clinical reading workflows to product configuration, drive AI-enabled viewer integrations, and coach implementation teams while coordinating with Product and Engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
8+ years of overall experience in healthcare IT, medical imaging or clinical systems (required).
5+ years in a customer-facing technical role for PACS or enterprise imaging (required).
In-depth knowledge of DICOM and HL7 v2 (required).
Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of diagnostic viewers (required).
Strong understanding of radiology clinical workflow (required).
Experience with cloud-hosted applications and networking (required).
Ability to communicate technical decisions to radiologists, IT leaders and executives (required).
Imaging informatics credentials (preferred).
Experience deploying clinical AI in radiology (preferred).
Experience in regulated medical device environments and ITIL (preferred).
MS Office experience required.

Responsibilities

Own technical solution design and configuration of the Viewer for assigned customers, mapping clinical reading workflow to product configuration.
Lead technical discovery with customers and implementation teams, covering HL7 and DICOM data flows, integrations, migration data, network and security requirements.
Publish configuration standards, baselines and deployment playbooks; train implementation teams and customer administrators.
Serve as customer-facing technical lead during go-lives, hypercare and escalations; communicate status and options.
Provide implementation support as escalation point for Viewer issues (approx. 20–30% of time).
Convert recurring customer needs into standardized workflows and product requirements.
Own escalation of engineering issues; triage, document defects and close loop with customers.
Configure, deploy and support adoption of AI-enabled workflows and agents as released.
Validate releases and hotfixes against representative customer configurations.
