Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with professional email/chat etiquette.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills and USB connectivity.
• Very organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Excellent attendance with no unexplained absences for the first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain records of customer interactions in systems.
• Explain eligibility, benefits, claims payments, and authorizations to members/providers.
• Promote self-service tools to improve efficiency and resolution.
• Analyze patient activity and claims to resolve benefit inquiries.
• Route complex inquiries to appropriate departments and track follow-ups.
• Meet or exceed performance goals and comply with client policies.
• Maintain private home office and high-speed internet for remote work.
