Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring Health Plan Specialists for a fully remote role to assist health plan members with benefits, billing, enrollment questions and provide outstanding service during Open Enrollment.

This contract position requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of call center experience, with eligibility to work remotely and to be on camera during meetings. You will work standard remote schedule with occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of call center experience.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens simultaneously.
• Reliable attendance history.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle 100% inbound customer service calls from health plan members.
• Manage approximately 50-70 calls per day during peak enrollment periods.
• Assist members with benefits, billing, enrollment, and coverage questions.
• Research and resolve complex member concerns from start to finish.
• Document all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
• Utilize multiple applications and online resources simultaneously.
• Provide timely follow-up and ownership of member issues.
• Deliver compassionate, professional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive member experience.
• Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions.
