Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Health Plan Specialist for a fully remote contract role supporting members with benefits, billing, enrollment, and insurance coverage. Up to 70 calls daily during peak periods, with a Monday-Friday schedule and CST hours. Eligible states across the U.S.

are listed; candidates must reside in an eligible state and have reliable ethernet internet. Remote work environment with benefits available; contract may lead to permanent employment.

• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while on calls

Responsibilities

• Handle 100% inbound calls regarding benefits, billing, enrollment, and coverage questions
• Manage approximately 50-70 calls per day during peak Open Enrollment
• Research and resolve complex member issues from start to finish
• Maintain ownership of customer concerns through complete resolution
• Document interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Utilize online tools and resources to support members
• Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
