Great American Insurance Group’s Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative. This fully remote, full-time position offers hands-on training in underwriting and broker relationships within the Employer Health Solutions business.

You will learn consultative sales, review RFPs, engage brokers, and participate in meetings with business owners and insurers. A bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales representatives to learn the Employer Health Solutions business.
• Review and process RFPs, analyze opportunities, and communicate with brokers regarding underwriting considerations and eligibility requirements.
• Support the sales team with prospect and broker outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up activities, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with insurance brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to gain exposure to the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through structured training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training programs to expand industry knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with sales reporting, CRM updates, and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal business partners to support new business opportunities.
• Progress through a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
