Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative. This developmental role offers hands-on training and mentorship to build a long-term career in insurance sales.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain exposure to underwriting and broker relationships, and learn the business from the ground up. The role supports remote work across the continental United States, with opportunities to progress into a full Sales Representative position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.
• Internship, part-time work, customer-facing experience, sales experience, athletics, leadership involvement, or other experiences demonstrating drive and competitiveness.
• Interest in sales, insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or business development.
• Exposure to insurance, healthcare benefits, underwriting, or financial services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced sales representatives to learn the Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Support the sales team with prospect and broker outreach, meeting coordination, follow-up activities, and account management tasks.
• Participate in meetings with insurance brokers, agencies, business owners, and prospective clients to gain exposure to the sales process.
• Build knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through structured training and on-the-job experience.
• Develop an understanding of underwriting guidelines, healthcare insurance products, and market dynamics.
• Attend industry conferences, broker events, and training programs to expand industry knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain accurate activity records and assist with sales reporting, CRM updates, and pipeline management.
• Progress through a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a full Sales Representative role.
