Job summary

Great American Employer Health Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our growing team. This remote, full-time role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to underwriting and broker relationships as you build a long-term career in insurance sales.

You will collaborate with experienced reps, process RFPs, reach out to brokers, and participate in meetings with clients and business owners to learn the sales process and industry dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Risk Management, Communications or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable building professional relationships with business leaders and insurance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Learn Employer Health Solutions business and develop consultative sales skills.
• Review RFPs, analyze opportunities and communicate underwriting considerations to brokers.
• Support sales with prospect outreach, meeting coordination, follow‑ups, and account management.
• Participate in meetings with brokers, agencies, business owners and prospective clients.
• Develop knowledge of Medical Stop Loss and Level Funded Health Plans through training.
• Understand underwriting guidelines and healthcare insurance products.
• Attend industry conferences and broker events to grow knowledge and relationships.
• Maintain activity records and assist with CRM updates and pipeline management.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams to support new opportunities.
• Progress through a structured training program for advancement to a full Sales Rep role.
