Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Health Care Customer Service Representatives for remote work in the United States.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolve billing and payment questions, and support patients with insurance and billing inquiries. Requires 1+ year in a call center or customer service, knowledge of medical terminology is preferred, and flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a call center or customer service role.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and Saturdays.
• Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to requests for information from patients/accounts in a professional, thorough manner.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies when performing duties.
• Communicate clearly to provide accurate information and support.
