Job summary

Runway is seeking a growth‑minded leader to build and scale our founding BDR team across the US and Canada, with open remote options. You will directly manage the current two-person unit while shaping AI‑powered outbound prospecting, messaging, and workflow infrastructure to win enterprise opportunities.

This role blends people leadership with systems building, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Creative, and RevOps to define ICP, routing, and GTM execution as Runway expands in the enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, growth, or GTM leadership roles.
• Experience managing SDR/BDR teams.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with outbound process experience.
• Deep interest in AI-native workflows and how AI reshapes prospecting and sales.
• Experience in product-led, usage-based, or technical GTM environments.
• Analytical, data-driven, and able to translate insights into strategy.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and eager to iterate.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow Runway’s founding BDR team, creating a high-performance culture.
• Build the systems, processes, and infrastructure for a modern AI-first sales development organization.
• Define how AI tooling and automation work with human outreach across outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
• Translate product signals and inbound demand into enterprise opportunities.
• Develop targeted, vertical outbound motions aligned to Runway’s use cases.
• Test and refine messaging, sequencing, and enablement programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Creative, and RevOps to shape ICP, routing, and GTM execution.
• Work with sales leadership to define and scale Runway’s enterprise sales motion.
