Job summary

Paylocity is hiring for a fully remote sales role within the United States. You will prospect, develop business relationships, and close new and expanded sales agreements aimed at medium-sized businesses.

The position is quota-driven and requires a proactive, consultative sales approach. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will generate net-new opportunities, present Paylocity services, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up.
• Organize and complete documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Work with internal departments to ensure smooth transition for clients.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals and other sources.
• Build and maintain relationships within the Broker channel and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to determine needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for territory.
