Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a motivated sales professional to prospect and develop new business with mid-sized clients (49–499 employees). This fast-paced, quota-driven role emphasizes a consultative approach and independent activity in the field.

Fully remote in the U.S. (Tampa, FL territory); you must be available five days a week during designated hours. You will report to the Director of Sales and work to build relationships, present Paylocity services, and close new and expanded agreements.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and leverage Paylocity’s expertise
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up throughout the sales process
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity
• Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for clients
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals and networks
• Build and maintain relationships within broker channels and referrals
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional service needs
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
• Other duties as assigned
