Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a results-driven Sales professional to prospect, develop, and close new business with mid-market clients across the United States. This fully remote role requires disciplined prospecting, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a quota-driven environment.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will build relationships, present Paylocity solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions for new clients.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities through expertise and industry knowledge.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare proposals and follow up throughout the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation required for clients to move to Paylocity.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth client transition.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and personal contacts.
• Build relationships within the Broker channel and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify new service needs.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
