Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a remote Sales professional to prospect, present, and close deals with medium-sized businesses across the U.S. You will manage the full sales cycle, build broker relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client transition.

The role targets 49-499 employees and requires a proactive, consultative approach, strong communication, and a track record of sales success. Compensation includes base and incentives.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years of experience in a sales role with a track record of success.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive, quota-driven environment.
• Strong presentation and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and close new and expanded deals.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare proposals and follow up during the sales process.
• Coordinate documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transition.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within broker channels and other sources.
• Attend events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
