Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a high-energy B2B sales professional to drive new business in HCM and payroll solutions. You will own the full sales cycle from discovery to closing, develop strategic proposals, and manage opportunities in CRM.

The role emphasizes proactive prospecting, cross-selling, and market insight sharing with leadership. The position offers a remote work arrangement with national scope, targeting mid-market clients (50–500 employees) and requiring strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Some relevant industry experience
• Must obtain required licenses/credentials
• Superior command of verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect and generate new B2B business through cold calling, networking, field outreach, and digital engagement.
• Manage the full sales cycle including discovery, solution development, proposal presentation, contract negotiation, and closing.
• Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and prospect interactions within CRM systems.
• Identify and support cross‑selling opportunities across additional service lines.
• Provide leadership with insights on market trends, competitive activity, and client needs.
