Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a highly motivated sales professional for a fully remote role in the United States. The position targets medium-sized businesses (49-499 employees) and requires 3–5 years of sales experience, a proactive prospecting approach, and strong relationship-building skills.

You will own the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, with opportunities for commissions and bonuses. The role reports to the Director of Sales and offers a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired
• 3–5 years’ experience in a sales role in a quota-driven environment
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment with high activity
• Proven track record of sales success and objection handling
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities with potential clients
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospects
• Prepare proposals and follow up throughout the sales cycle
• Coordinate documentation for clients to move to Paylocity
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions
• Develop prospects through calls, referrals, and contacts
• Cultivate relationships within broker channels and referral sources
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to identify new service needs
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory
