Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is seeking a remote Sales representative in the United States. You will develop business relationships with potential clients, close deals, and drive revenue for mid-sized companies.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales experience, a proven track record, and strong communication skills. A proactive, quota-driven approach in a fully remote US environment is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in a competitive environment.
• Proven track record of sales success and quota attainment.
• Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards and organize time effectively.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities leveraging industry knowledge.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and professional networks.
• Build relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
