Job summary

Paylocity, a cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks a results-driven Sales professional for a fully remote role within the U.S. The position targets medium-sized businesses and reports to the Director of Sales in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

Based in a Los Angeles territory, you will build relationships, schedule client meetings, and close new and expanded sales agreements. A college degree is preferred and a strong sales track record is expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing and referrals.
