Little Peaks Preschool and Early Childhood Center is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead grant fundraising, write compelling proposals, and manage reporting for funders. The role emphasizes remote work with occasional in-person meetings in the Adirondack region.

The successful candidate will be an excellent writer and organized project manager, capable of building relationships with foundations and donors while translating program impact into clear grant materials.

Qualifications

• Experience writing grant proposals for nonprofits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently.
• Ability to research and evaluate funding opportunities and determine alignment with priorities.
• Experience developing grant reports and managing grant requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research, identify, and pursue grant funding opportunities.
• Maintain and manage a pipeline of grant opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships with foundations and funders.
• Develop letters of inquiry, grant proposals, budgets, and supporting materials.
• Prepare interim and final grant reports.
• Document program outcomes and reports for funding.
• Occasionally meet with funders or partners in person in the Adirondack region.
